Digg, the veritable social-media powerhouse has been on the fritz lately. Webmasters and the general public have gotten bored, and while their traffic is still phenominal, the heart just isn’t there.
There are hundreds of “Digg Services” that provide webmasters with multiple Diggs in order to boost a site’s ranking on the site. While this is a less than savory way of achieving traffic, it still works.
Herein lies the current problem with Digg, it’s rife with get-rich-quick schemes, gambling, and more from the under-belly of the web.The creators aren’t happy about this and neither are the users.
Digg in my opinion is on it’s way out, there are too many social applications out there to limit your promotion and web time to a dinosaur in the web arena.
While the site does still have usage and support, it’s just not what it used to be.
