Dotspotter Purchased By CBS For $10 Million

This happened about a week ago, but it’s still relevant because it’s still overpriced. I guess I need some friends at CBS because I’ve got several million dollar ideas, and if they’re offering $10 million, well I’d have it made.

My problem is this, the webiverse is very much about setting standards right now, and if $10 million is the base price for a new social-media website now, well frankly that’s absurd. The concept behind Dotspotter is very simple, it’s basically a DIGG for celebrity gossip. I’m not all that impressed.

CBS, what were you thinking?
